FRANCETRUCK was established in 1986 as the sole distributor in France for SVETRUCK heavy forklift trucks.

The company has since then diversified into a multi cargo handling equipment and logistic supplier. 

Moreover, it has also as spread its activities geographically into the whole of France and Western Africa.

FRANCETRUCK is offering, since 1989, a full maintenance and repair service for all its range of products.

We have begun this service with SVETRUCK forklifts at COGEMA (site of Pierrelatte). Nowadays, COGEMA belongs to AREVA, the world leader in nuclear industry.

Some years later, we followed with equipping the DELMAS RoRo fleet with on board fully maintained 28 ton (and later 32 ton) SVETRUCK container handlers.

Through the years, we have proved we were able to satisfy the very tough and demanding RoRo operations.

We have also, successfully, tendered  in the nuclear industry for the strategic handling equipment of AREVA in the South East of France.

These applications, and many more to mention, are significant demonstrations of FRANCETRUCK’s ability to perform safely and efficiently in sensitive environments. 

From 1996, the company has added reputable dealerships to its diversified product range.

The STEELBRO sidelifters  (self load/unload container trucks) are being used extensively by our African customers.

We are, since 1999, the exclusive dealer in France and West Africa of the TERBERG range of RoRo and terminal tractors.

We are, since 2000, also successfully collaborating with TEREX PPM in the sale of container super stackers in these territories. 

In 2004, FRANCETRUCK has entered into a sales representation agreement with KONECRANES, followed by the successful completion of a transaction to supply eight  RTG (Rubber Tyre Gantry Crane) for the new container terminal of Abidjan/Ivory Coast run by the BOLLORE GROUP and AP MOELLER. 

We also represent the Swedish container spreader manufacturer, ELME, in France for its port crane products.

Nowadays, we can proudly say that FRANCETRUCK has supplied more than 500 SVETRUCK forklift, 350 TERBERG tractors, 150 TEREX PPM super stackers, 80 STEELBRO sidelifters, and more than 100 second hand trucks.

In 2003, the company obtained the ISO 9001 certification which ensures a high professional quality level in the sale and distribution of the company’s product range, as well as the safe and efficient level of service we provide.
